Review Workflow Business Processes, Notification and System Status topics prior to starting this task.
Configure Notification Groups
Set Notification Group Assignments. Notices will not be sent out to the Approver or Approvers if the Approver is not a member of a Notification Group in Setup > Notification Groups.
Be sure the Task Manager Run As User is set and the Contact Manager and the Email Manager are turned on and configured to relay and deploy email messages. A valid email account must be defined as one of the contact methods if you want an email to be sent.

| Access to the System Status page in Setup may be needed to troubleshoot and review work code requests that do not have a business process association. The System Status page is especially critical for pre-existing customers with many work code request transactions already on the calendar. For some customers this could be an enormous amount of work codes and not setting this feature properly could deploy a massive and unnecessary amount of email notifications. Please read through the entire workflow, notifications, and system status documentation to obtain an in-depth knowledge of all the links and moving parts involved with notifications and workflows before turning this feature on. |
